In 1995, Mr Fetchter invited the monks of the Shaolin monastery on behalf of the provincial region of Henan to perform on stage and to show their mystic, their religion, their spiritual maturity and their incredible exercises to a big audience. Since then, Shaolin became a world famous trademark.

The monks were invited to hundreds of TV shows on four continents, thousands of press reviews were written and more than 2000 performances took place which more than 3 million people have seen. Since then, dozens of groups tried to copy the success of this original first production, but until now, none of them achieved the aim to get the audience closer to the philosophy of Zen Buddhism and to the mystical powers of Shaolin Kung Fu in such a thrilling and authentic way.

For more than 14 years the, Shaolin Kung Fu Monks“ have attracted worldwide attention with their breathtaking show. In more than 3000 performances on four continents, in front of an audience of more than 4 million, the visitors have seen for themselves that the Zen Buddhists from Shaolin are capable of overriding the laws of physics by mere concentration and to develop nearly superhuman forces.
Their show present the best masters in the different disciplines coming from different monasteries in China where the history of the Shaolin temple and the life of the Shaolin monks is impressively represented. The shows include all the fascinating and historical Qi Gong exercises and demonstrate the principle that “the spirit can dominate the body“.

For more than a decade the temples and cloisters that lie in the heart of China around the holy Song Shan mountain range have been the purpose of my travels. Fascinated by the regional beauty of the extensive mountain ranges, but above all else by the mystical strength that reaches out from the cloisters and the inhabitants of this mountain, I have made the history of the Shaolin monks, Zen Buddhism and Kung Fu, the subject of our films, books and shows time and time again.

Their shows demonstrates the martial arts and the spiritual side of the Shaolin Monks, and along with the help of Dr Jian Wang, CAO Wei and George Hatmann, have given the whole western world an understanding of the Shaolin cloister and the fighting monks.
